Mushy Devlog #4: Debuffs


After adding jump, dash and stealth abilities to Mushy, a rebalance was needed. One of the ways to do this, I thought, was to give the enemies' own abilities some sting. And that's how debuffs were born! So here are 3 of the effects I'm currently working on:

  1. Unsteady/slippey movement from the slime .
  2. Zero energy regeneration from the spike attack.
  3. Impaired vision from the fog attack.

What do you guys think of the effects? Should the UI indicators be more noticeable, less? Would you add different effects ? Any feedback is golden!
